# HTTPS

From the English Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure, it is a superstructure of the [HTTP](https://www.bartvisions.cz/en/slovnikovy-pojem/http-2/) protocol. HTTPS uses the HTTP protocol along with [SSL](https://www.bartvisions.cz/en/slovnikovy-pojem/ssl-2/) or TSL and is a secure communication between a web browser and a server.
