# Podcast

Podcast is a popular form of content on the internet. It is spoken word in mp3 form. The term was coined from a combination of the words “iPod” (Apple’s mp3 player) and “broadcasting” or “broadcast”. A podcast is a post of the usual length of several dozen minutes. Often it is an interview with an interesting personality or a talk by the author himself on topics of interest to his target audience. One of the better-known podcasts is by Tim Ferris, an American writer of motivational literature.
