# Rank

The term rank denotes a certain ranking or rating. It can be, for example, a ranking of the site itself, expressed as a number. The most well-known are Page Rank (PR), which is the ranking of pages by Google, and S-rank, which is the ranking of the Czech search engine Seznam. As a rule, these are scores in the range of 1-10 and nowadays this ranking of websites is no longer important.
