SERP

SERP stands for Search Engine Result Page. It is used in connection with search engines like Google and Seznam (Bing, Duck Duck Go…). As the English name suggests, SERP is what you see after you type the search term you are looking for into the search engine bar. SERP results are influenced by paid advertising as well as SEO and linkbuilding. Getting to the top of the SERPs is very beneficial for every e-commerce store and business, but it is a long run. SERP results change regularly based on changes to the site and other factors. It is also important for users to know that the first position in the SERP does not always equate to the best quality results, especially if it is a paid advertisement.

However, Google, Seznam and other search engines try to place the most relevant results in the first positions of natural (organic) search.

SPF

Abbreviation of Sender Policy Framework. Like DKIM, it is a validation system that protects e-mail recipients from spam. Unlike DKIM, SPF only validates the sender's address. Server administrators can use SPF to tell which computers in a given domain can send e-mail. The SPF implementation consists of three parts: publishing policy, control and use of SPF records, review of forwarded mail. Compared to DKIM, this is a more outdated and more demanding method of spam protection, but it still has its place.
