Extranet
A website that can only be accessed by a user after logging in, registering or otherwise entering data. Unlike regular websites, the content here is protected in some way and can even be layered for individual visitors. Thus, different content can be displayed to each visitor. Extranets are mainly used for remote communication and sharing non-public documents.
Editorial system
A system for publishing information without significant IT support and without the need for programming skills or complex web editing. Articles are most often published through editorial systems and can be edited in various administrative ways. Probably the best known editorial system, which is also available in a free version, is WordPress.
