Packet

A packet is a package of information that is distributed on the Internet. Data is transmitted by packet switching and each packet contains user data as well as control data. Networks using such data can address multiple target users and eliminate some errors.

PPC

PPC, also known as Pay Per Click, means pay per click. Primarily, it refers to the clicking of advertisements, most often in the form of a small banner, where the advertiser pays only for the actual clicks of users.

Plugin

The individual pixels are not arranged randomly, in fact they form a precise grid so that each point can be precisely specified and identified.

Podcast

Podcast is a popular form of content on the internet. It is spoken word in mp3 form. The term was coined from a combination of the words "iPod" (Apple's mp3 player) and "broadcasting" or "broadcast". A podcast is a post of the usual length of several dozen minutes. Often it is an interview with an interesting personality or a talk by the author himself on topics of interest to his target audience. One of the better-known podcasts is by Tim Ferris, an American writer of motivational literature.

Pop-up window

Pop-up - often an advertisement that overlays the content of the web page (or program) you are viewing. A pop-up ad often forces you to click on its content to see the content you are interested in. While this is still a common feature of programs and especially websites nowadays, it is also very user-unfriendly and search engines are slowly starting to put websites with this kind of advertising at a disadvantage.

Prefix

The prefix is used when creating variable names and other identifiers. In the case of WordPress, for example, it can be the prefix "wp_" for tables.
